About Dan Ryan Builders New Organization
Dan Ryan Builders has been part of the Charleston homebuilding landscape since 2006. However, the Dan Ryan Builders brand in 2006 or even 2016 does not reflect the current culture, product or evolution of the builder today.
Since Dan Ryan Builders was founded in 1990, the company has generally been a very value driven builder. In 2016, Sumitomo Forestry Co. Ltd., parent company of Sumitomo Forestry America, Inc. purchased a majority share of Dan Ryan Builders and its corporate entity which was the start of a period of exciting changes. Under the direction of long-time senior vice president and now, chief operations officer, Ronny Salameh, the culture of the organization changed to offer first move-up and estate homes known for their design and quality of construction. Additionally, the organization grew exponentially within its existing footprint and added two additional builders to the portfolio. In 2018, the company launched Elevate Homes (55+ Active Adult) and added Fielding Homes (Luxury Estate Homes). At the same time, the three brands were consolidated under a single organization, DRB Group. The legacy communities bought and built under the previous culture are nearly completed and now, DRB Group can offer customers a taste of the new Dan Ryan Builders and soon, Elevate Homes.
DRB Group locally announced plans to bring their 55+ Builder, Elevate Homes to the market in early 2020. Elevate Homes offers a refreshing alternative to current and existing age-restricted communities, inviting home shoppers to maximize their lives with the "right size" home rather than downsizing. It’s an active adult lifestyle that's been missing so far: exceptional homes, extraordinary included features, unique "elevate room" options, plus amenities, all at an affordable price. Elevate Homes designs all include a 2-car garage and range from 1,626 to 3,900+ square feet with 2 to 4 bedrooms and 2 to 4 baths.
The first Elevate Homes community is slated for gorgeous Cane Bay in Summerville, SC. This master planned community offers the convenience of onsite retail shopping, dining and medical services, along with 15 miles of trails and six ponds. Cane Bay is just minutes from historic downtown Summerville and Town Square with its upscale boutiques and one of-a-kind restaurants. Homeowners in Cane Bay enjoy the Summerville Concert Series and Farmer’s Market, the annual “Sculpture in the South” Exhibit and Sale, and the “Flowertown Festival” held in Azalea Park - one of the most beautiful parks in the Lowcountry. Other Summerville outings include the July 4th “Red, White and Blue” celebration, October's “Scarecrows on the Square” and December's festive “Holly Days.”
