Ride with The Guide’s Fav Five segment. Today we’re exploring one of the area’s 55+ living leaders’, K. Hovnanian, Lakeside Series single-story Porto floorplan located in Four Seasons at Lakes of Cane Bay in Summerville SC. If you’re looking for 55+ active adult living, this new home design and community will not disappoint. The Porto is just one plan of K. Hovnanian’s five home designs in the Lakeside Collection.
This open concept 2,490 square foot floorplan has many notable features like its low maintenance exteriors and mid $400s starting price. A key feature to K. Hovnanian’s Lakeside Collection is their available lakeside homesites.
The below is a list of my favorite features however there are many options and possibilities that may catch your eye as well. Picking only five features was hard but here we go… note this list
is not in any particular order.
1. Curb Appeal
Though this featured elevation shows brick accents there are three exterior elevations from which to choose. The carriage-style garage doors are a great touch and the extra utility space beside the finished two-car garage is perfect for a golf cart, work bench area – you name it!
2. Floorplan Flow
Open, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. This home is perfect for entertaining. Tremendous storage space. Comfortable living spaces. Optional slider doors offering seamless indoor / outdoor living. K. Hovnanian has thought of everything!
3. Exceptional Kitchen
There are many standout features which are the HUGE breakfast bar / kitchen island workspace and large extra corner pantry. Great utilization of space – ample countertop and cabinet space also there’s a double wall oven option. Think of all the good times that will be spent in this kitchen area!
4. Convenient HovHall – (Photo not available – see above floorplan for HovHall’s location)
I just love this space though the Drop Zone and Valet areas are options think how convenient this space is coming in and out of your garage or laundry room can be – an organized mud room – how awesome is that. It’s a great space for your beloved pets’ needs too.
5. Dining Room
This room really standouts out with its beautiful floors, abundance of natural light and convenient location giving easy access to the kitchen and outside.
