Friendly Hanahan offers shorter commute times, good schools and recreation

The city of Hanahan stretches from a southern boundary at Yeamans Hall Road to N.A.D. Road the north. The city surrounds Goose Creek Reservoir. The city’s eastern boundary is North Rhett Avenue and its western boundary is Railroad Avenue which parallels Interstate 26. With a population of approximately 29,000 this Berkeley County town’s population is rapidly growing.

People choose to live in Hanahan for the well-rated Berkeley County schools here and the town’s nearness to the Naval Weapons Station in Goose Creek. Commuting from Hanahan to Downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant via Interstates 26 and 526 is a quick hop for people in Hanahan. The city is close to the hip Park Circle neighborhood in North Charleston with it’s restaurants and clubs.
