This fund is instrumental in supporting companies and researchers focused on advancing impactful technologies within South Carolina.
William S. Helmly, president, and CEO of Home Telecom emphasized the company's understanding of the challenges faced by companies in developing technology that addresses industrial, commercial, and lifestyle issues aimed at improving the human experience. Helmly noted that substantial time and resources are necessary for these companies to effectively harness and implement such technology.
SCRA collaborates with technology companies throughout South Carolina to bolster the state's innovation economy. By accelerating growth in various influential areas—including academics, research, entrepreneurship, and industry—SCRA is creating opportunities for groundbreaking advancements to take root in the state.
“We are privileged to facilitate the next big things in innovation,” said SCRA President and CEO Bob Quinn. Quinn expressed gratitude for Home Telecom's continued support of SCRA’s mission and the state’s innovation economy.
Home Telecom's contribution to SCRA’s mission embodies an all-hands-on-deck approach that inspires and fosters community and statewide partnerships and alliances, further expanding innovation efforts. The company maintains that while it significantly contributes to the overall innovation economy, collaboration is essential for success.
