Nexton to host Back to School Bash and Supply Drive in partnership with Teachers’ Supply Closet

Award-winning master-planned community Nexton will host a Back to School Bash to collect back-to-school donations in partnership with Teachers’ Supply Closet, which provides free school supplies to teachers in the Tri-County area who work at schools where 71% or more of the students are on the free or reduced meals program. The event will feature family friendly music from Two 3 Ways, face painting, a balloon artist, a stilt walker, and food from Wabi Sabi and Scoop 50Fifty Ice Cream.
 
'Admission’ to this event is the donation of at least one school supply item per family. Supplies most needed include composition notebooks, copy paper, gently used education books for Pre-K – 12^th grade, Kleenex, hand sanitizer, glue stick, scissors, crayons, pocket folders, pencils, and washable markers.
 
Attendees will need to bring their own chairs and blankets.
