Rooftops are rising in Hopewell, the second neighborhood within Point Hope, a thoughtfully planned community that is taking shape within Charleston. Coastal contemporary homes from David Weekley Homes, Pulte Homes and Toll Brothers are now at varying stages of construction, and the first residents are expected to move into the neighborhood in early March. More than half of the homes offered in the initial phase of Hopewell are now under contract.
Hopewell is anchored by the Sanders House, a farmhouse that was built on the property in mid-1800s. The building is being stabilized and repurposed for use as a home for the Property Owners’ Association, and the surrounding property will serve as a landscaped setting for resident use that includes opportunities for raised bed gardening and fruit harvesting.
Residents at Hopewell will also enjoy close proximity to Point Hope’s first Dog Park, now under construction and scheduled to be open by summer.
Also nearby is the growing collection of shops, restaurants and conveniences located in the heart of the community, three Berkeley County public schools (K-12), First Light (Point Hope's first neighborhood) and parks, trails, and open greenspace for residents to enjoy.
