JOHNS ISLAND, S.C.  — Pulte Homes has put the final touches on four breezy coastal models in Sea Island Preserve, a new private gated community of estate-sized single-family homes tucked among the woodlands and wetlands of Johns Island yet convenient to downtown Charleston.

Pulte is releasing nine homesites each month in Sea Island Preserve, where 387 homes are planned, and another 360 acres are set aside as dedicated conservation land. Amenities will offer countless ways to enjoy the outdoors with neighbors and friends, whether it’s through pickleball, the swim club, play areas for kids or two miles of walking and biking trails woven throughout the greenways.
 
“Many of the homesites feature pond views while others overlook established live oaks and wetlands, contributing to the nature preserve focus of this unique community,” said Jacob Reynolds, General Sales Manager Pulte Homes. “The demand has been extraordinary, with homesites being scooped up by interested homebuyers almost as fast as they are being released.”
 
The four new model homes are among 11 flexible floorplans being offered in Sea Island Preserve, beginning in the low $400,000s to the mid $500,000s, and ranging in size from 1,600 square feet to more than 3,000 square feet of living space.
 
The Dunwoody Way model draws attention to one of the nature preserves with a spacious screened porch and patio perfect for alfresco dining. Inside, shiplap accents and a blue and white esthetic draw attention to the open layout with the cook’s kitchen and large island made for easy meals. The owner’s suite features a spa bath and zero entry tiled shower. Two additional bedrooms each have their own private bath. The third garage bay can house a golf cart, extra storage or workbench for tools and tinkering. 
 
With double front porches, the two-story Woodward is a blend of charm and modern living, featuring up to five bedrooms and four baths, a first-floor guest suite and flex space for a hobby room or home office. The generous gathering areas include a formal dining room and an upstairs loft. The retreat-like owner’s suite features a sitting room and dual closets, and an optional sunroom adds a comfortable retreat filled with natural light.

The two-story Hampton is designed to be flexible to fit the needs of families, with up to five bedrooms. The kitchen features a large center island with a breakfast bar for casual meals and sunlit gathering room alongside an optional outdoor patio. An upstairs loft multitasks as a private getaway, hobby space, or area for family together time.
 
The popular Martin Ray model features a single-story open floorplan with up to three bedrooms and space up front that can be used as a home office. The kitchen features a circular island that leads right into the formal dining or gathering space. The owner’s suite is convenient to the laundry room and offers plenty of storage. Extra space in the garage can be used for a golf cart or for storage.
