Welcome the warmer weather this year at Nexton with the annual Spring Open House Tour. Every Saturday and Sunday in March from noon to 3 p.m, guests will enjoy tasty treats as they tour more than 20 quick move-in homes and 16 beautifully furnished models in three distinct neighborhoods. Best of all, prizes will be given out weekly for potential homebuyers, including a grand prize of $1,000.
“Nexton offers our residents a strong community full of amenities and services, and that hospitality starts from the moment they step foot in our community,” said Brent Gibadlo, vice president and general manager at Nexton. “Our spring open house series not only showcases an environment for residents to live, shop, and work close to home but one for businesses to thrive and for people to feel at home.”
Each weekend, guests will be delighted with handcrafted bites and beverages. Wear your walking shoes to tour Nexton’s three villages – Brighton Park Village, North Creek Village and Del Webb at Nexton – in addition to parks and amenities. Here’s what to expect each weekend:
March 2 - 3 | Relax. You're Home.
During first weekend of the Nexton Spring Open House Tour, guests will tuck into a yummy muffin from Summerville’s own Rustic Muffin, while the day’s tunes will be provided by local Charleston talent, Chris Crosby. Chris plays everything from acoustic and jazz to rock and Motown. A little something for everyone.
March 9 - 10 | Feather Your Nest
Ready for a new nest? Peruse model homes in Brighton Park Village and True Homes and visit the Del Webb info center to taste test a variety of homemade granola goodness from our friends at Coastal Coffee Roasters. Nexton worked with local favorite and soon-to-be Nexton Square tenant Simple To Sublime to find a fun takeaway that's bird-worthy. Pop a hummingbird ring on your finger, and feed them right out of your hand!
March 16 - 17 | Soothe Your Soul
After an afternoon of walking through model homes and exploring parks and trails, treat yourself. In each location, there’s a little something to do just that: shower bursts. Place over your showerhead for a refreshing burst of aromatherapy. There will also be something tasty to fill your belly.
March 23 -24 | Go Nuts
Nexton is nuts over Molly & Me pecans! Guests will fuel up with the locally-grown and roasted nuts while touring quick move-in homes and beautifully furnished models. At the Greeting House, thoroughly danceable banjo tunes by Melvin Cumbee. Melvin’s repertoire includes everything from Earl Scruggs to Bela Fleck.
March 30 - 31 | Pamper Your Pooch
How about a treat for you – and a treat for your favorite fuzzy friend? Guests can enjoy a dog from Miracle’s Tasty Express, and Spot will be delighted when you bring home a cookie just for him! Each of the Brighton Park and North Creek model homes and the Del Webb info center, will have a different spring-themed dog treat. Think of it as a nice, long walk. With treats.
